Gaumukh Kund or Gaumukh Reservoir is shaped like the mouth of a cow, hence the name gaumukh, meaning cow’s mouth. The water which accumulates in the reservoir flows through a crack in the rock. It is located on the western side of the Chittorgarh Fort and is one of the most visited places inside the fort.
