Nehru Garden in Udaipur is beautiful attractive Garden, constructed in an Island at the heart of Fateh Sagar Lake. This enchanting Park can be reached by a pleasant boating from one side of the Fateh Sagar Lake.
The park, established in a lawn of about 4.5 acres in spread, encloses many distinct water fountains resembling those in Brindavan Gardens of Mysore. The fountains are of channel type and Pyramid shaped. A floating restaurant, in a boat shape is an added attraction here, located in the north west of the garden.
Name after the first Prime Minister of India, Pt. Jawaharlal Nehru, this island park was opened for the public on 14th November 1967. It is a very attractive oval shaped garden constructed on an island at the heart of lake Fateh Sagar. To reach the park you have to take a boat which ply regularly from the banks of the lake.
The park also has a boat shaped restaurant which is located in the north west of the garden.

The park has many water fountains which are pyramid shaped. It overlooks the ancient Moti Mahal and gives amazing view of the Aravali hills on three sides. Nehru garden is an oval shaped i-sland, located at the middle of Fateh Sagar Lake. Inaugurated on 14th November 1967, Nehru park, covering the area of 41 acres (170,000m2) of land is a perfect place to spend the leisure time. Nehru park contains a small zoo especially designed for kids, beautiful garden with a lily pond and few small restaurant, mainly a boat shaped floating restaurant. Besides these, the garden is enclose a pyramid shaped water fountain which resembles the Brindavan garden of Mysore.
